DANIELLE BLACK - CUMBERNAULD MALL
In the short time Danielle has been with the company she has had a massive impact. She consistently embodies the Unsung Hero values by supporting the team in any way she can from her unexpected one-liners keeping team morale up to always leaving our customers smiling she is always a positive influence on shift. Her dedication to constant self-improvement as well as helping those around her develop has been a pleasure to witness over the last six months.
RUTH MCQUEENEY - CUMBERNAULD DRIVE THRU
Ruth has been with the business for a good period of time. Throughout her whole career with Coffeepots, she has consistently been a high-performing, calm and exceptionally capable member of the team. I have always been incredibly impressed by Ruth’s work ethic, and no matter the circumstances, she “just gets on with it”. On extremely busy days, Ruth keeps calm and is always in control and doing her best. Despite working in such a fast paced and intense environment, I have never heard Ruth complain and she always works to an exemplary standard. She delivers excellent customer service, building great rapport with customers, and can fulfil any role required. Ruth is one of the drive thru’s longest serving employees and she has helped to train a lot of our staff. Everyone could learn something from her and she takes everything in her stride. Every shift worked with Ruth is made easier by her being there, and she is an amazing part of our team.
CLAIRE MACINTYRE - BAILLIESTON
I am thrilled to nominate Claire for this year's individual award. Since joining Coffeepots late last October, Claire has been an invaluable source of support and guidance for me, especially as I transitioned into the role of Trainee Store Manager/Acting Store Manager.
From the outset, Claire demonstrated unwavering dedication, not only to her own responsibilities but also to the success and well-being of the entire team. She went above and beyond her duties, often sacrificing her personal time to assist me, whether it was training as a barista or navigating the challenges of managing the store.
One particular instance that showcases Claire's exceptional commitment occurred when she willingly came in after hours regularly, on her days off to help me tackle various tasks I was still figuring out how to do. Her selflessness and willingness to lend a hand, even in the face of unexpected challenges such as fighting off Jeff, our resident spider who'll soon have to start paying rent; exemplify her remarkable work ethic and determination.
Beyond her work ethic, Claire brings a contagious joy to our team environment. Her vibrant personality and positive attitude create a welcoming atmosphere for both colleagues and customers alike. Regulars quickly notice her absence on her usual days and inquire about her well-being, a testament to the lasting impression she has made on our community.
In summary, Claire's dedication, support, and ability to foster a positive work environment make her an exemplary candidate for this award. I wholeheartedly believe that recognizing her contributions would not only acknowledge her outstanding efforts but also inspire others to emulate her commitment to excellence.
BALLIE MCLAUCHLAN - PRESTWICK
Time and time again Baillie goes above and beyond with customer service on till and checking in with customers throughout their stay. She always is happy to help and take on any extra jobs that are required to keep the shift running smoothly. Best example was when our Christmas light switch on event was happening where I didn't even need to ask for anything to be done, milk was swapped, creams were made, cups and lids were restocked and the next set of drinks were set up and ready for us. She was a blur with productivity that night and can't think of anyone more deserving of this award.
