THIS YEARS TOP CONDENDERS

KK Hannah Middleton.png

Hannah is an amazing, dedicated and talented member of the team. She always works hard and is always willing to help and she truly is a star. She always goes above and beyond. Since moving to kirky Hannah has assisted me with taking over the managers role and having someone so capable and talented has been invaluable. Hannah learns quickly and can easily adapt to fulfil anything asked of her evidenced by recent changes such as loss prevention, she is meticulous with her administrative duties always completing her opening and closing checklists, time sheets, coffee pots checks etc. she has been a great help with training our new starts and making them feel welcome and comfortable. Hannah is well liked and respected not only by the team but by customers too, she is lovely to work with and brings a great atmosphere to our team and she’s an amazing asset not just to our store but to the company as a whole

CD MEGAN KING.png

Megan is arguably everyone’s favourite person in our store, and after leaving the DT last year and coming back I am absolutely astounded at the progress she has made. The first reason I think Megan should be our star of the year is her amazing attitude and unwavering positivity. She is so lovely to be around that the entire team love working with her and customers love her attentive, friendly and engaging service. Starting with us in November 2022, Megan was quite shy and deathly afraid of the coffee machine. She provided wonderful service on the till and always worked super hard to keep the store lovely and clean. Despite coaching and encouragement, she maintained that the coffee machine was not for her. When I returned to the drive thru this year, I was gobsmacked to see her confidently making coffees for a busy drive thru queue and absolutely smashing it. Megan’s growth and development in the last year make her incredibly worthy of this award. I am so proud of her and so impressed with her new found skill and confidence, which compliment her existing brilliant work ethic and customer service talents. We are very lucky to have her on our team.

This wee guy dropped out of School in 4th year as in his words " I canny be arsed wey it" When dogging school one time he was found by his gran, asleep in a park bush. He once asked his grandparents when was the last time they had sex or words to that affect

He started his Coffeepots career in Grangemouth and soon moved to our busiest store the DT. He loves making coffee, some say its the only thing he is good at) He recently only scored 95% on a costa Check as he didn't use a stencil on a take away cappuccino (even though its not brand standard) just don't ask him for a Hot chocolate as it was described by a Costa support manager as looking like dog shit!

Hes now worked at 15 of our 16 branches (Greenock your next) and he is often picked up by senior management and thrown around the stores to help and cover shifts. Every one he works with comments on how hard working and how they want him to join their team - not sure why!

ANNA YOUNG - BEARSDEN

For someone that has been with the company for less than a year Anna has exceeded my expectations at every turn whether it be coming in early or covering shifts at the last minute. Anna has showing how much she has learned and how fast she has improved in such a sort time. Anna is hard working and always willing to learn and improve each day. I think Anna would make a fantastic manager one day.

Anna brings at great atmosphere and keeps the shop laughing with her amazing karate moves she makes when she gets a fright ( which is a lot ).

I just want to thank Anna for all the hard work she has put in and how much I appreciate the support over the last few months.

SCOTT DICKIE - PRESTWICK

In the 2 years that Scotts been working with me he's gone from Barista, through BM and recently become Team leader. He's taken every extra responsibility in his stride and works closely with me to the highest professional level to keep the shop running to the level we both want and expect when I'm not there. I was pushing for Scott to become a supervisor within his first 6 months of starting in Prestwick and not long after that was exploring the possibility of become TL as well which he since has done. He gets on great with all staff and customers alike. I see great potential in Scott for his future with Coffeepots and can't thank him enough for the effort and positive effect he's had on the shop. I've said it to him myself many times, that if he hadn't joined when he did, I wasn't long for leaving after a bad stint of underproductive staff and lack of care for a shop that I've put years of blood sweat and tears into. He's given me a new lease of aspirations to make Prestwick as great as it can be.
